Equilibrium Products are on the lookout for an Account Manager to help drive the continued success of the UK retail market.

Equilibrium Products, based on the Beds, Bucks border champion the welfare of horses by developing innovative quality products that truly make a difference.

Reporting into the UK Sales Manager this role will be responsible for our driving revenues from our UK retailers. 

We are open to candidates looking for both full time and part time (a minimum of 24 hours per week).

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A bright, enthusiastic ‘people person’ with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A confident communicator (written and oral) with a desire to succeed.
  • Gets things done.
  • A self-starter who is motivated and driven by achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Flexible to work weekends/evenings and stay away from home (as necessary). 

Can you:

  • Build strong relationships and develop our growing UK customer base both face to face and over the phone.
  • Visit customers to build, maintain and manage relationships at all levels.
  • Increase sales and customer awareness at shows and retailer open days/evenings.

About you – The essentials:

  • Lives within a commutable distance of our office in Wing, near Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Full UK Driving licence with own transport and relevant business insurance. 

About you – Nice to have:

  • Business to business sales experience.
  • Previous experience working within the equestrian industry.
  • A horse owner or someone with knowledge of horses and the equestrian community. 

This role will include travel but primarily we need someone who can commute and also work from our offices on the Bucks/Beds border. So candidates need to live in the area.

An attractive salary and target related bonus, pool car for business use and up to 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays are on offer dependent on experience and qualifications.
