AREA SALES MANAGER

SOUTH EAST ENGLAND

MATERNITY LEAVE POSITION 

On behalf of a well-regarded and popular client we are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager for a fixed term Maternity Leave Contract to cover the South East of England.

The successful candidate needs to be;

  • Confident in meeting and speaking to new people
  • Well organised and able to manage their own diary
  • Professional and personable
  • Able to travel regularly and stay away when required
  • Customer Focussed
  • A strong equine background is advantageous
  • The successful candidate will work from home, managing their own diary, visiting retailers in the territory on account management and new business duties.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Account Management
  • Stock Taking
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Brand Awareness & Promotion
  • Attending trade shows and retailer open days when required
  • Candidates need to reside within the required territory and be able to travel daily as part of the role. The area roughly covers Kent, Essex, East Sussex. 
  • Ideally candidates need to have a proven experience in a previous commercial / retail / customer focussed role.

Full Brand and product training will be provided.

Start Date - no later than July 1st 2020

Interview details - initially telephone interviews with Equine Careers, then successful candidates will speak with the client via phone, followed by interviews via Zoom with head office.
