BEDMAX Shavings was the first company in the UK to make purpose-made, high quality shavings especially for horse bedding. Celebrating our 21st year Bedmax was founded and is still based near Belford in Northumberland, we have three dedicated manufacturing plants in Nottinghamshire and Hampshire and Northumberland.
BEDMAX Ltd, is looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to be part of the BEDMAX team and to develop and maintain sales across the South East and East Midlands.
Reporting to Head of Sales, this field-based role involves key account management, identifying potential customers and developing awareness of the BEDMAX portfolio of products, through face-to-face sales calls and education. The range of customers includes wholesalers, retailers, racing and competition yards, colleges and veterinary establishments.

The successful applicant will be our eyes and ears on the ground, developing relationships and leaving no stone unturned. You will not be micro managed but will have a professional ‘can do’ attitude, taking pride in your work and being part of our brand.
Applicants need to be based centrally within the area and must have a full clean driving licence. Applications are welcome from the equine sector and other similar field sales environments such as agriculture or small animal, however some knowledge of the equine sector and a passion for horses would be beneficial.
