Global Herbs Ltd. is a well-established and innovative specialist equine nutritional company, manufacturing nutritional solutions for the UK equine market, encompassing a range of well known, market leading specialist formulations.  At the leading edge of equine nutrition, its products are based upon the highest standards and are designed to help create the best in horse welfare and health.

A position of responsibility has arisen for an experienced Area Sales Manager.  The company is dynamic, growing and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and growing the sales through a number of well-respected and established retail outlets.

The successful candidate will have a passion for horses and good nutritional knowledge which they can demonstrate to both our retail customers and horse owners alike. 

The Role:

  • Support and develop existing retail outlets to achieve their maximum potential
  • To show and demonstrate to our retails customers why they should recommend these supplements above others
  • Root out new opportunities and recognise growth areas
  • Be actively helping to drive business through our retailers
  • Plan product campaigns with our retail customers, using your skills and judgements to best fulfil this 

Candidate Requirements

  • Track record of successful, sustained sales growth within the industry and territory
  • Customer focused with and an outgoing personality
  • Proficient in making presentations with flair and skill
  • Self-motivated, results driven and able to prioritise
  • Strong desire to be recognised as one of the best in this specialist field! 


An excellent remuneration package will be on offer to include competitive salary dependant on experience, Result-Driven Bonus, Company Car, Private Healthcare and Contributory Pension. 

The area covers Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria and County Durham, candidates need to live within this area to service the territory.
