Haddon Training Ltd is an OFSTED Grade 1 'Outstanding' National work based training provider, based in Marlborough. We provide Apprenticeships and wider qualifications across 3 core sectors - Equine, Animal Care and Business.

Haddon Training is looking to recruit a vocational expert for an Assessor-Trainer position

The successful candidate should ideally live in any of the following areas:

  • Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex
  • Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk
  • North London, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex

The Job: Full time 40 hours a week

Competitive Salary and package (company car and pension)

As an Assessor you will be based in the field supporting on average a caseload of 38 young people (aged 16-24) to work towards and achieve their Apprenticeship programme.  All training is conducted in the workplace and you will be responsible for planning your own visits, diary and activity.

Basic requirements:

  • Minimum of BHS Stage 3 Care and Riding, prepared to work towards their Level 4
  • Level 2 in maths and English, or be willing to complete it. You will be expected to deliver this in the work place.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of management
  • Fit to drive up to 2 hours to visit a learner
  • Comfortable engaging with 16-24 year olds and their senior staff members
  • Adhere to deadlines and an expert at time management
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Self-motivated
