Job Description

The D&H Group specialises in providing agricultural, equine and veterinary products. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic account manager to look after our existing portfolio of customers within the livestock and equine categories.

The role is based in King's Lynn Norfolk

Salary : £18,000 - £30,000

Contract - Monday - Friday 07.30-17.00

Possessing strong commercial acumen and having a proven track record in closing deals over the telephone, your ability to communicate with professionals and gain their trust will be very important.

The role will involve:

  • Communicating frequently with existing customers
  • Working to daily / weekly sales targets
  • Sourcing and following up leads
  • Explaining and promoting products to prospective clients
  • Maintaining and updating the customer database
  • Preparing quotes
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Attending agricultural and trade shows

The successful candidate will:

  • Have exceptional attention to detail
  • Be able to communicate with our clients professionally and confidently
  • Ensure the customer always comes first
  • Be loyal and confidential
  • Be able to work alone but also contribute to the team
  • Have an understanding of the industry, it's demands and seasonal activities
  • Experience in negotiating to achieve the best outcome for the customer and the business
