Are you established in Commodity Trading ?

We are looking for a practicing Farm Trader in the East Anglia region that wants a new challenge! This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest commodity traders with a superb support network and the opportunity to take on warm leads whilst still developing the territory that is absolutely key to grain procurement within the UK.

An average day will see you:

• Buying grain and selling fertilisers, seed, etc. to customers both established and new.
• Taking on existing warm customers and generating new.
• Working closely with current farm traders in the business.
• Attending all relevant internal/external and customer meetings.
• Preparing/managing/coordinating Credit ledger, sampling and testing commodities for purchase and agreeing an annual business plan for each crop

Sort after attributes:

• Established negotiator.
• Ability to create great relationships.
• Organisational skills/time keeping/manage own diary.
• Adaptability in working alone and closely with others.
• Technical knowledge and an up to date understanding of all current sector information. (for example, current prices and competitor activity)
• Ideally practical arable experience and/or agricultural education.
