Key Account Coordinator

Zilco are manufacturers of high quality synthetic equestrian products.  With a strong focus on carriage driving harness we also specialise in racing, endurance and harness racing products.

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join the Zilco Europe team at our rural location in Oxfordshire.  We are looking for an experienced equestrian sales person to support and continue to develop our strong customer base within the UK and Europe. 

Working closely with the Sales Manager to progress sales, you will be responsible for developing key accounts and potential stockists. You will be expected to maintain regular contact with customers including UK customer visits.  Some travel within Europe will be required to support existing agents and also to develop sales in areas that are unrepresented.   

To ensure that Zilco remain at the forefront of specialised equestrian disciplines the post holder will need to be diverse in their approach.  The role offers the opportunity to get involved with a wide variety of tasks, ranging from industry research to working on short video for use in social media. 

Part of this role will require you to attend shows and events in support of stockists or to further develop the Zilco brand and will include carriage driving events.  Attendance will also be required at trade shows across Europe. 

Key Skills/Requirements: 

  • Professional and mature ‘can do’ attitude
  • Proven sales experience
  • A team player
  • Familiarity of the Equine Industry
  • Willing to travel in the UK and Europe
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driving licence & willingness to travel
  • Competent Computer skills (familiar with Office Microsoft suite)
  • Able to stay away when required 


  • Language skills
  • Knowledge of carriage driving
  • Familiarity of social media

This is a full time vacancy based on 36 hours per week.  The successful candidate will need to be in commutable distance of our offices in Bloxham, near Banbury, Oxfordshire as the post holder will be primarily office based.  Due to the nature of the work, some weekend working or overnight stays will be required.
