Salary: £20,000 per annum 

Weatherbys has a new and exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Editorial Coordinator within our Point to Point department. This role will be responsible for marketing and promoting all of the Company’s publications including Go Pointing, Results & Stats, the Planner and the national website.  In addition an integral part of this role is to grow advertising for all products. This will involve producing and updating advertising portfolios, research of and contact with potential advertisers. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, write and evaluate marketing campaigns throughout the year.
  • Write accurate editorial for in-house and third party publications.
  • Grow advertising for key publications.
  • Provide assistance with the production and proof reading of publications.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate administration of Point-to-Point entries, results and form. 

The successful candidate will have experience in marketing, communications, social media, website and product development, preferably within the Racing sector. You will also have the ability to create editorial copy and advertising campaigns.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential requirements for this role, as is a high standard of customer service. Knowledge of Point-to-Point would be advantageous.

This role involves working weekends on a rota basis during the Point-to-Point season.
