Job Description

KBIS British Equestrian Insurance, the UK’s leading independent equine insurance specialists are looking for a marketing coordinator to join their team in their rural office near Newbury, Berkshire, on a full-time basis.

Working with a small team you will be responsible for implementing and delivering the marketing strategy across both print and digital platforms, including coming up with new initiatives and planning and developing campaigns. In addition, you will oversee and ensure the successful delivery of the company’s sponsorship activities.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have excellent customer service skills with some previous marketing experience. Equestrian knowledge is essential for the fulfilment of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of marketing strategy across print and digital channels.
  • Overall responsibility for activities across all social media platforms, including daily content and running successful paid for ad campaigns.
  • Designing and implementing email campaigns and online competitions.
  • Companies appointed sponsorship liaison, ensuring contracts with both riders and events are fulfilled, producing and issuing press releases/news articles as relevant.
  • Coordinating on event presence, including staffing and stand build.
  • Administration of the website through the sites CMS.

The Candidate:

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good understanding of basic computer programmes and ability to learn and operate relevant IT tool.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and to achieve deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Previous marketing experience and equestrian knowledge.

Salary negotiable depending on experience, benefits include a pension and medical insurance after the completion of a successful probationary period. 

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm. Some weekend work will be required
