Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stallion AI Services, UK's leading stallion semen collection, freezing, storage and distribution centre, for a PR and Marketing Executive.  This role is extremely varied and fast paced, especially in the lead up to, and during, the stud season. The role will involve developing, launching and on going promotion/marketing of a new sub brand as well as overseeing and developing marketing plans and strategies for our main brand including website advertising, social media management, producing promotional materials and printed promotional tools, helping to organise and run events and optimise PR opportunities.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing promotional materials
  • Overseeing  and developing marketing packages of client stallions including email campaigns, social media campaigns and distribution of stud cards.
  • To produce and increase distribution/circulation of the annual stallion catalogue .
  • To optimise PR opportunities including press releases, press conferences and publicising newsworthy events.
  • To maintain and update the website and develop new website opportunities.
  • To assist in organising promotional events and generate ideas for new event possibilities.
  • To undertake competitor analysis and keep abreast of the latest market developments.

Who we are looking for:

You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be highly creative.  The ideal candidate will also have previous equine experience or an interest in equestrianism and some marketing or PR experience.  You will also need to have a pro-active approach, be self motivated, good at generating ideas and be able to work on your own initiative.  We are looking for  a goal driven, personable and enthusiastic person to join our friendly, hard working team near Whitchurch, Shropshire.
