Mars Horsecare UK Regional Sales Manager – South Wales & Central region (M4 Corridor)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our highly engaged trade sales team at Mars Horsecare, growing market share of our brands SPILLERS™, WINERGY™ and Equivite™. This is a field based role covering South Wales and the M4 corridor.
The purpose of this role is to drive profitable growth of MHC UK products via increased distribution and availability in the market place. The role is key to creating mutual and sustainable working relationships with a variety of trade partners, including direct and in-direct retail accounts and wholesalers.
We’ve identified four key responsibilities for this role:
Ideally you’ll will be degree educated or equivalent with a proven track record in Sales. Some equine knowledge is useful but not essential. At ease in a small company with clear organisational focus but which is part of a major corporation. Capable of working alone and in a small team. Numerate, financially literate with a sound commercial sense and bottom-line focus. Excellent communication skills. Also we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial approach and the ability to ‘light up a room’, bringing presence, drive and enthusiasm to the table every day to develop and drive business growth and influence all levels of the organisation.
