A busy retailer of equestrian, pet and small holder products. This large family owned store is based in Tunbridge Wells.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our busy team on a full time permanent basis. As a key member of the team the role of sales assistant is predominantly providing excellent customer service. The core responsibility will be to ensure all our customers receive the best customer service experience, whether that’s impartially advising on horse supplements or dog food or just carrying their items to the car.
The successful candidate will:
Most importantly have a 'can do' attitude.
Have proven equestrian, pet or small holder familiarity, able to talk confidently about animals, their care and relevant products. Be Outgoing & positive, hard working, enthusiastic, a real people person who thrives on meeting and chatting to new people. Have a proven track record in a similar role with a customer service, retail, or telesales background. Be commercially aware, with an eye for detail, happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in with the team for a variety of tasks.
Ideally AMTRA Qualified
Candidates need to have good communication skills - both written and verbal, and able to use their own initiative - being self motivated
Due to the nature of the products we sell, the role involves daily heavy lifting.
The role is working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. (Flexibility is required to work varied hours including weekends)
Candidates must have a Current UK Driving Licence and their own vehicle, and live within 10 - 15 miles of the store.
