World Horse Welfare is an international charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on care.

We are looking to find an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to define and drive forward our day-to-day marketing strategy.

As part of our fundraising team you will play an integral role in defining, leading and driving our day-to-day marketing strategy and delivery. You will be responsible for combining a clear strategy with tactical and creative implementation on the ground. Using a range of direct and indirect marketing techniques to raise our profile and expand our audience, increasing uptake of products, active support and visitation. You will engage with corporate partners, media, our members, public and the community. Growing our supporter base and recruiting and retaining partners to maximise income.

Our ideal candidate will have;

  • Experience in a demanding marketing environment
  • You will be highly organised and self-motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • You will possess demonstrable experience of setting, tracking and monitoring income and expenditure budgets
  • An evident track record of running successful marketing campaigns, with a thorough understanding of data segmentation and analysis
  • A flexible approach to work is essential as you may be required to occasionally work outside of normal office hours and be prepared to travel within the UK staying away from home.
