Job Description

An assistant is required to join the Horse Health Trade Stand Team attending various equestrian events throughout the year. This is a full time position although part time applicants will also be considered.

This role is physically demanding with manual handling and the successful candidate will need to be physically fit.

You will also need to be organised, have high attention to detail, be efficient, quick thinking and have lots of common sense!

This role will entail:

  • Packing and unpacking the show vehicles, re-stocking show stands and organising lorries and stores at the events.
  • Keeping the stand safe and tidy and assisting other staff members where required.
  • Assisting with set up and breakdown of the stand at events.
  • Involves long days, weekends and staying away for the duration of events.
  • A basic knowledge of equestrian products an advantage, but not essential.
  • Full driving licence required.

Outside of shows you will provide assistance in the warehouses to the Stores Manager and packing and despatch teams.

  • You will be involved with stock rotation and replenishment.
  • Use of warehouse management and stock systems and scanners
  • A counter balance fork lift licence would be an advantage but not essential.
