Hilton Herbs is a long established award winning and innovative family-owned company dedicated to manufacturing top-quality herbal feed supplements and healthcare products for horses and pets all over the world. 

We are looking to recruit a positive, enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and professional individual to join our team, working at our offices in North Perrott, Somerset. UK

The successful applicant must have a proven track record in Sales and Business development with both B2B and B2C accounts, preferably within the Equestrian/Pet market. Good IT skills (Microsoft Office), Website back office and the use of social media platforms are essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Management, support and expansion of existing N.American Distributors & Wholesale accounts
  • Wholesale Sales (telephone, web, email, hubspot, chat)
  • Identifying and developing new business markets in the USA
  • Promotion of both existing & new products
  • Responding to US customer queries
  • Processing US Distributor, Wholesale, Amazon and B2C orders
  • Liasing with our US Fulfillment centre
  • Maintaining & developing our US website content & Social Media activity

Key Skills:

  • Proven sales record and business development experience with B2C & B2B customers (essential)
  • Knowledge of/or experience in dealing with the North American Equestrian/Pet market (desirable)
  • Customer service experience (essential)
  • Organisational & Time management with ability to prioritise workload
  • Practical knowledge of horses and pets (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (essential)
  • Previous experience of website CMS and/or CRM systems (essential)
  • Experience in order processing via web & telephone (essential)
  • Good verbal and written communications skills (essential)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (desirable)
  • Experience of Digital Marketing
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounts software (desirable)
  • Interest in the equine/pet supplement industry and knowledge of changes facing the industry (desirable)
  • Knowledge and interest in natural health care for animals (desirable)

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven track-record in sales and customer service to join our team and help further develop our North American B2B & B2C markets.

Full product training will be provided. This is an office-based position so applicants should live within reasonable commuting distance of our offices near Crewkerne, Somerset. UK and have a clean valid driving licence.

Office Hours: Mon-Fri 10.00 am – 6.00 pm
