Hilton Herbs is a long established, award-winning and innovative family-owned company supplying high quality herbal feed supplements and natural healthcare products for horses and pets all over the world.

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Sales and Customer service advisor based at our offices in North Perrott, Somerset.

This is a busy role for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and professional  candidate, with a sound equestrian background, dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

The role involves.

  • Processing web, telephone and email orders
  • Providing a professional and friendly product advice service to our B2C customers via telephone, email, hub spot and web chat service.
  • Having a comprehensive knowledge of horses, and previous sales and customer service experience
  • Having excellent IT skills (Microsoft office, Word, Outlook & Excel).
  • Assisting with the day to day back office content of our UK website and social media platforms.
  • Helping with the production of our customer newsletters, offers, and various web based sales campaigns
  • Being able to multi-task and work under pressure with a mature, friendly and confident manner

 Key Skills

  • Interest in the equine/pet supplement industry and knowledge of changes facing the industry
  • Comprehensive practical knowledge of horses and pets
  • Proven practical sales experience in B2C Marketing
  • Previous experience of website CMS systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook & Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Knowledge and experience of using mainstream social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • An ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a knowledge and interest in natural health care and a proven track record in sales and customer service to join our team and help further develop our UK B2C market.

Full product training will be provided. This is an office-based position, so applicants must live within reasonable commuting distance of our offices near Crewkerne, Somerset.

Hours: Monday – Friday - 8.45 am – 5.00 pm
