Hilton Herbs is a long-established, award-winning and innovative family-owned company specialising in the research, development, manufacture and marketing of top-quality herbal feed supplements and natural healthcare products for horses and pets.  

We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and professional individual to join our team, working at our offices in North Perrot, Somerset.  The successful applicant must have a background in customer sales, development and service. Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) are a prerequisite, along with knowledge and use of current social media platforms and website back office familiarity. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage our existing UK & Export Trade sales order processing (web, telephone, email)
  • To develop & maintain a proactive relationship with our existing UK & Export Trade / Wholesale customers.
  • To identify potential new customers in both the UK and Export market (Trade & Wholesale)
  • To provide a professional & friendly customer service (via email and telephone)
  • Help develop & carry out marketing campaigns with the aim of increasing our market-share in both our Export and UK markets.
  • Day to day management of our UK Trade website.
  • Assist in the manning of our trade stand at UK and possibly European Trade Shows, which will require time spent away from home including weekends.

Qualifications and Experience Needed.

  • Good keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (essential)
  • Good verbal (telephone manner) and written communications skills (essential)
  • An ability to work both independently and as part of a small team (essential)
  • Knowledge and experience of using mainstream social media platforms (essential)
  • Proven practical sales experience in B2B Marketing (essential)
  • Experience in order processing (essential)
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounts software (desirable)
  • Experience of Amazon Vendor Central administration knowledge (desirable)
  • Interest in the equine/pet supplement industry and knowledge of changes facing the industry (desirable)
  • Previous experience of website CMS and/or CRM systems (desirable)
  • Practical knowledge of horses and pets (desirable) 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven track-record in B2B customer sales and service to join our team and help further develop our UK and Export Trade and Wholesale markets.

Full product training will be provided. This is an office-based position so applicants should live within reasonable commuting distance of our offices near Crewkerne, Somerset. UK

Hours: Monday–Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

Show Hours: As required Monday - Sunday
