The Pony Club is the world’s largest equestrian youth organisation and the fourth biggest youth movement in the UK with over 32,000 members. Through our core values of fun, friendship and learning, we provide young people the opportunity to enjoy everything to do with horses and ponies – regardless of whether they have one of their own.

With volunteering at it’s heart. We are seeking someone passionate about people to help us grow our volunteering workforce and recognise, reward and retain the thousands that already do so much.

The Volunteering Development Officer will be responsible for creating a new three year volunteering strategy and working closely with the Volunteers and Officials Committee to support volunteers across the Country.

This person will play a key role in supporting volunteers during our National Championships and creating a pathway for members to continue their Pony Club experience beyond the life of membership. The wider opportunities sees this role impacting change across all four pillars of the strategic plan and reinforce our Charitable purpose.

  • Create a three year volunteering strategy
  • Strategically coordinate and support the provision, growth and development of volunteering.

  • Actively promote and encourage the ideals of the minimum operating standards for Safeguarding.
