The British Horse Society is the UK’s leading equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge, expertise and success.. The BHS works to secure, protect and link safe off road routes for riders and carriage drivers which are also shared by cyclists and walkers. We are a voice for our industry, lobby at national and local levels, engage with local communities, and work closely with partner organisations to ensure every equestrian has access to safe, off road routes today and in the future.
In this exciting new role you have the opportunity to make a difference. You will work closely with our trained team of voluntary BHS Bridleway Officers in our southern region and take a coordinated approach to moving access to the next level in the region. With our support you will fuel your regions work to research and record the unrecorded routes of South England. You will coordinate Equestrian Access activities and meetings which aim to secure new and improve existing routes on the ground and recruit more volunteers.
