Home Office Based – with travel throughout the territory. Must to be located in the South East of England.
Key Responsibilities
To manage and develop trade accounts in the territory to maximise the distribution of Red Mills feeds, Carr & Day & Martin care and Foran Equine supplements as well as any other required Connolly’s Red Mills products.
Enhance the reputation and standing of the company by building strong customer relationships providing exceptional sales support, category expertise and ongoing education.
We very much believe in our sales team being 'Trusted Advisors' to our valued customers. Therefore, the successful candidate must adopt a consultative, patient and committed approach, essential to ensure you develop sales based upon customer needs, best practice, credible advice, and excellent product performance.
What are we looking for?
To have a minimum of 2 years proven sales skills in a customer driven environment
Good knowledge and understanding of horses and the Equestrian community
Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
Self-motivated and driven when working towards set objectives
Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
A full, clean driving licence
Willingness to travel as this is an essential part of the role
This is a field based role and as such may require up to 2 nights away from home for any planned customer or sales meetings as well as key shows/events
