South East England Area - Ideally Guildford based

Toggi Equestrian and Outdoor clothing and Champion Riding Helmets are have an immediate vacancy for a TEMPORARY MATERNITY COVER Area Sales Manager in their South East of England sales area.  It is considered that this could be a 6 to 8 month appointment.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with two established and highly respected Brands and to join a progressive Area Sales Management team. The appointment will be immediate or as early in January as possible.

As the Area Sales Manager, you will need to live within a 15 mile radius of Guildford and either be aiming for a serious sales career in the equestrian industry or be committed to furthering one and now wanting to gain valuable experience.

Position Summary

As the Area Sales Manager your daily responsibilities will include;

  • Providing the highest standard of customer service, in-store merchandising, product training, stock management and general brand-building
  • Be responsible for attaining sales growth goals and representing these well-known Brands accordingly.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will need to have passion and have the required interpersonal skills with sales experience to thrive in this role, including;

  • At least 2 to 3 years retail or wholesale, sales experience
  • The ability to communicate across all levels in business
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously
  • A genuine passion and interest for all things equestrian
  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have an outgoing personality
  • The successful candidate will be required to work occasional weekends to attend major equestrian events
