EKKIA is one of the largest suppliers of Equestrian equipment in Europe with head offices in France. We offer an incredibly wide range of products designed for horse and rider. We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to manage and further develop sales opportunities in the North West.

Candidates should already reside and be familiar with the Commercial Retail trade in the area to be covered.  Ideally Lancashire.

The successful candidate MUST have a proven track record in field sales activity, having managed a territory before (min 2 years) and the ambition and tenacity to develop the area further.

The successful candidate will be customer orientated, target driven, and willing to travel extensively with regular nights away included. This role will report to a UK based National Sales Manager.  

Extensive daily travel and regular nights away are pre requisites for this role.

Visits to France to familiarise with the operations and for the initial induction are to be expected with this role.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record in sales to retail trade
  • A dedicated sales person looking for their next exciting challenge
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Availability to travel extensively throughout the designated area with regular nights away.
  • Knowledge of equestrian products or the equestrian industry.
