Area Sales Manager

On behalf of a well regarded and popular client we are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the North West of England. 

The successful candidate needs to be;

  • Confident in meeting and speaking to new people
  • Well organised and able to manage their own diary
  • Commercial minded and target driven
  • Professional and personable
  • Able to travel regularly and stay away when required
  • Customer Focussed
  • Familiar with horses, ideally a candidate who competes and understands horses.

Representing the brand at all times - the successful candidate will work from home, managing their own diary, visiting retailers in the territory on account management and new business duties.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Account Management
  • New Business opportunities
  • Stock Taking
  • Retailer product training
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Brand Awareness & Promotion 
  • Attending trade shows and retailer open days when required 

Candidates need to reside within the required territory and be able to travel daily as part of the role. The area roughly covers Staffordshire, Lancashire, and North Wales.   

Candidates need to have a proven 2 years + in a previous commercial / retail / customer focussed role, ideally having managed others, in a role of responsibility. 

Full Brand and product training will be provided.

A strong equine background is advantageous.
