World Horse Welfare is an international charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on care. We work across the UK with horses, horse owners, the veterinary profession, sport bodies, law enforcement and government to promote and protect the welfare of horses.  Our four rescue and rehoming centres provide horses in need with urgent and specialist care. Once their rehabilitation is complete, we aim to rehome them in a loving new home through our rehoming scheme. 

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Centre Manager at our rescue centre located in Snetterton, Norfolk. 

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting with the running of the rehabilitation yard, visitor centre and maintenance team. 

Sole responsibility of the whole site in the absence of the Centre Manager. Hall Farm can accommodate 104 equines and employs 21 staff. 

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Extensive management experience in a large equine environment
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to handle and work a wide range of equines including youngsters and problem horses. 
  • You must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be an exceptional communicator
  • Have outstanding organisational skills especially when working under pressure. 
  • BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship or an equivalent qualification or experience would be extremely advantageous.
