ASSISTANT MANAGER - Park Farm Saddlery & Direct Feeds - Country Store & Livery Yard

We are a working Arable Farm with a Country Store, DIY Livery Yard and small Stud. We require someone to join the team and help with the day to day running of the business. The position is predominantly based within the retail side of the business and is open to someone with an outgoing personality, computer skills and a sound equine knowledge. They must be confident to talk horse to customers, and not afraid to get stuck in with a variety of tasks that the role will include.

The key candidate needs to be:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A good communicator both verbally and written.
  • Able to maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Confident with IT.
  • Able to manage our website and social media.
  • Had experience within the Equine industry.
  • Willing to get fully involved with all aspects of the business.

The role is for 5 days a week to include a Saturday. This is a 'hands on job' which does include some lifting.
