 Bloodstock/Commercial Business Analyst

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum - Depending on Experience 

A vacancy has arisen within our Bloodstock Division for a Business Analyst. This role will evaluate and document business requirements, reviewing solutions from project initiation through service introduction to post implementation support. In particular, the successful candidate will work with the Bloodstock team on final implementation of the Bloodstock Database project and new product related projects that will be outputted from the Database.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine, document and prioritise high level and detailed project requirements. Working to templates, processes and deadlines as agreed. 
  • Analyse business processes, procedures and problems to simplify business delivery and/or improve efficiencies and effectiveness. 
  • Interpret and construct process models. 
  • Run requirement gathering/definition workshops for projects working closely with Weatherbys IT. 
  • Effectively present options and recommendations to Stakeholders. 
  • Produce prototypes and host walk through sessions. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrable Business Analyst experience, to include the ability to identify, analyse and define business information requirements. You will also have hands on experience of working within an AGILE or iterative development methodology. Excellent interpersonal, communication skills as well as, strong organisational skills, are also essential requirements for this role. Certification in at least one of BCS Requirements Engineering, ISEB Business Analysis, or similar is required.
