An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Brand Assistant within MARS Horsecare UK Ltd based from our Head Quarters near Milton Keynes.

MARS Horsecare UK Ltd owns many market leading nutrition brands including SPILLERS®, WINERGY® and EQUIVITE®.

The role of Brand Assistant – to provide brand marketing support, drive category management activities alongside general office support and occasional Care-Line cover.

Reporting to the Marketing and Sales Director the Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • To support all Brand (including Digital) activity
  • Drive all Category Management activity with the trade sales team
  • Social community management and writing of regular blogs
  • Sales & Office Administrative support including supporting the Trade and Professional Sales Teams to allow them to carry out their roles efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide general support to the Care-Line including holiday cover
  • General office administration support

The successful candidate will be:

  • Educated to Degree level – ideally in Marketing, Communications, Business or Economics
  • Flexible & open minded in their approach
  • Well organised & able to work from own initiative
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • Numerate with commercial sense
  • Able to fit with a small team
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms
  • Well established IT Skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
