We are currently seeking for a Brand Manager marketing position, this is a full time role, largely office based but will have required weekly travel to events, trade, charities etc.

The Equine Brand manager will help lead planning and brand development for Dodson and Horrell to achieve organisational goals and objectives. Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of the equine industry alongside the flair and innovation to execute marketing plans to grow and protect the integrity of Dodson and Horrell at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute current and future marketing strategy to build long-term brand health.

  • Develop brand position, communication strategies and marketing programmes for all categories within D+H in order to drive consumer demand and grow market share.

  • Recommend product innovation to address gaps within the marketplace.

  • Coordinate campaigns and promotional opportunities with retail marketing, sales, digital and e-commerce platforms for integrated brand communication plans

  • Work cohesively with external partners to maintain brand messaging, tone and positioning.

  • Manage strategic partnerships and identify new opportunities.

  • Develop brand standards and ensure consistency throughout all brand elements.

  • Analyse market trends and provide actionable recommendations based on key insight.

  • Develop and manage annual budgets by category

  • Work with sales team to gain distribution and support with promotional activities.

  • Acts as the ‘brand guardian’ in all communications and brand representation.

  • Work with technical and sales leader to provide trade specific presentations to the sales teams for trade customer buy-in

  • Support with trade show design, planning and execution.

Role Essentials:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Graphics or related discipline.

  • 3 + years of marketing  experience.

  • Must possess strong organisational, execution and presentation skills with the ability to multitask easily.

  • Equine background/Knowledge  is essential

  • Entrepreneurial ‘Can Do’ Mindset is mandatory.

  • Excellent communications skills and ability to interface confidently internally and externally at all levels.

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload.

  • Strong experience using MS Office Suite including, Excel, Power Point, etc.

  • Commutable to Head Office -CW5 8DH
