Battles currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic position which focuses on growing our business through raising brand awareness and encouraging recommendations.

The areas to be covered are Midlands, North West and Wales.

Key Areas of responsibility:

  • Maximising products and driving sales by utilising a high level of product knowledge and selling skills.

  • Develop and maintain purposeful relationships that drive sales

  • Managing your area by delivering strategic objectives into each of your targeted accounts, deliver impactful and actionable meetings and presentations

  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service to assess customer needs and implement action plans

  • Evaluate/collate customer feedback and liaise with relevant business teams

  • Develop and implement efficient call cycles which result in positive orders and drive sales to deliver business targets

Skills/About you:

  • Demonstrable success and proven experience in B2B field sales

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills via telephone & face to face

  • Well-presented and highly articulate

  • Positive, focused, target driven & forward thinking, with a passion for exceeding expectations

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to build strong working relationships

  • Some Equine background is preferred, (a passion for horses or Equestrian knowledge is acceptable)

  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential and willingness to travel with overnight stays
