Salary up to £35k DOE + commission + excellent benefits

Due to a large-scale new business win, Redactive are looking for new sales staff to join our successful publishing business. We are a leading provider of magazines, digital media and live events for membership organisations. You will have heard of many of our clients, including: The National Trust (for which we represent the largest circulating consumer magazine in the UK), The RSCPA, The British Horse Society, The Federation of Small Businesses (for which we publish the largest circulating business magazine in the UK), as well as over 40 further clients in the B2B and consumer space.

Working as part of our growing Countryside / Equestrian division, the successful candidates will demonstrate themselves as eager, ambitious, reliable and well-organised individuals with a passion for selling.  These roles will involve focusing on two accounts; both titles have excellent reputations and provide unique access to high-value audiences for our advertisers.  

The role will involve:

  • Selling print and creative solutions to meet sales targets, working across a large monthly magazine
  • Selling across annual publications and directories
  • Meeting key clients, presenting to advertising agencies and brands
  • Hitting outbound sales call quotas
  • Maintaining existing client relationships whilst seeking out new business opportunities
  • Developing new revenue streams that meet client objectives and grow total income
  • Attending industry events where required

In order to be successful in this role:

  • You will have previous media sales experience with a track record of success
  • You will ideally have relevant sales experience and interest in the Rural sector
  • You will have a strong contact list of agencies and brands who work in this sector
  • You will have sufficient knowledge and understanding of Rural business, agricultural, land management and associated activities
  • You will be confident and have an intelligent sales technique
  • You will be able to sell to a wide range of clients
  • You will be articulate and have great communication skills
  • You must be able to work autonomously but also enjoy a team environment
  • You must have a strong work ethic, organisational skills and determination to succeed
