Full-time

Based at our HQ near Stoneleigh, Warwickshire 

The British Horse Society is the nation’s leading equine charity with a passion for horses backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for riders, owners, enthusiasts and professionals. 

Utilising the remarkable role and positive impact horses have in re engaging people through developing their character, self-esteem and key life skills, the BHS are seeking to appoint a Manager to further develop our growing Changing Lives Through Horses provision. 

Only accessed through our BHS Approved Centres, this programme focuses upon helping young people towards returning and/or remaining in education or towards employment with a key speciality being the allowance for them to learn in a ‘classroom without walls’ environment. 

  • An innovative and supportive approach combined with experience of managing and developing educational programmes is required.  
  • Knowledge of the equestrian industry is essential.
  • You must have a flexible approach to working as CLTH may be delivered in come centres at weekends.  
  • Responsibilities will include working with sponsors and partners to develop, co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate  the programme alongside researching and developing funding opportunities. 

This role will be based at the BHS Headquarters and will involve some travel due to the requirement to visit and support our BHS Approved Centres. 

You will be committed to the delivery of The British Horse Society's Mission, Vision and Strategy across all areas of the Society’s work.
