As a horse feed company, our guiding principle and the driving force behind our business is to help owners feed their horses as naturally as possible.
The Marketing team have a requirement for a new team member to join them as Creative Assistant.
This new role will consist of the following responsibilities.
Working alongside the Marketing Manager - helping to develop and implement marketing initiatives with particular emphasis on design and point of sale materials.
This role will be working across a mix of digital and print. Projects will include advertising, artwork for magazines, event graphics, POS displays, direct mail and retail merchandising materials and displays as well as digital designs for websites and social media.
You will report directly to the Marketing Supervisor to form integrated marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for the creative development and execution of artwork, presenting ideas and concepts and scheduling lead times. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a graphic design/creative position, alongside a relevant degree and real creative flair. Preferably you will have some small livestock/equine knowledge with a strong visual sense and an eye for detail as well as being competent in using Adobe creative suite, in particular Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. You will also be passionate and enthusiastic about design and a good team player as you will work within a close team to ensure a cohesive approach to marketing in line with the company brand.
Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
This is a fantastic opportunity to make the job your own - as it is a new role for someone to develop and take on the responsibilities. The role is primarily office based so candidates need to live locally to the office in Thetford, but there will be opportunity for time out of the office for photo shoots and creative work.
