We are seeking a driven, knowledgeable, and passionate person to join our UK team. This is an office based role in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

Saddlery Brands International takes a customer service driven approach in all that we do. Our industry leading training programs and community focused strategies work in conjunction with our extensive marketing support to generate strong sales growth with our retail partners.

The Role

The role of Customer Service Assistant will be key to the company’s exceptional customer service delivery and commercial success. Working within a small effective team, you will be responsible for addressing all retailer enquiries, providing proactive service, managing the processing and release of sales orders to our warehouse, office administration and meeting agreed deadlines and delivery times.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to all sales and aftersales enquiries
  • Efficiently processing customer correspondence taking ownership of queries
  • Daily order entry and processing for retail customers
  • Ensure all customer invoices and receipts are processed in a timely manner
  • Managing saddle repairs and warranty claims
  • Supporting the sales team as required

Experience & Knowledge

  • A strong working knowledge and background in customer service and order processing, with at least 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong equestrian knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including excel and sales reporting skills

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills with ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well within a small team as well as independently
