Join the UK’s leading equine classified website, HorseQuest, and become an integral part of our small, friendly team!
We’re looking for a motivated Customer Service Assistant to support our customer-facing team with ad management, account support, and handling customer queries.
In addition, you’ll assist the marketing team across digital, social, and other exciting projects.
This is a permanent hybrid role, combining work from home with regular office attendance in OX7. Some weekend work will be required for tradestands at major equestrian events such as Badminton Horse Trials and Horse of the Year Show.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (with occasional weekend work)
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support:
Process and manage advertisements.
Assist new, potential, and existing customers with their queries and account management.
Provide efficient and friendly customer service via email, WhatsApp, and telephone.
Administration:
Upgrade and update listings as required.
Support the HorseQuest team with day-to-day operations.
Event Representation:
Attend tradestands at major equestrian events such as Badminton Horse Trials, Horse of the Year Show, and British Dressage Nationals.
Deliver exceptional face-to-face customer service.
Marketing Support:
Help manage social media accounts.
Contribute to ongoing marketing projects and campaigns.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven customer service experience, including face-to-face interactions and an excellent telephone manner.
Exceptional attention to detail with a thorough and methodical approach to tasks.
A commitment to delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service.
A positive, can-do attitude and an aptitude for quick learning.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and thrive during busy periods.
Excellent IT skills.
Equine knowledge (essential).
Independent and proactive, while also thriving as part of a collaborative and friendly team.
A friendly, problem-solving mindset and willingness to support others.
