Competitive Salary – Dependent on Experience  

Vacancy has arisen within our IT Department for a Customer Support Analyst. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining IT systems across the Weatherbys Group of companies. The team is responsible for resolving a broad range of IT faults quickly and efficiently in line with published SLA’s. The role requires for the technician to provide effective IT assistance at a 1st line level across all areas of the business and processing of Service Requests all in line with ITIL best practice.  This new and exciting role will be based at our Wellingborough office.

The key responsibilities:

  • Provide initial investigation and diagnosis of technical issues on desktops and laptops.
  • Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
  • Installing authorised software to laptops and desktops.
  • Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops.
  • Escalating IT issues to 2nd line when appropriate.
  • Completing Joiners/Movers/Leavers administration.
  • Managing Incidents and Service Requests on Weatherbys ITSM system.
  • Patching of network and phones.
  • Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software.
  • Ensuring licensing for all software purchased is recorded and maintained.
  • Preparing support documents.
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Service Desk Technical Team Leader.
  • Mobile device setup.
  • CMDB Administration.
  • Asset Administration and auditing.
  • Active Directory Administration and auditing.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with sound written and verbal communication skills.  For this role you will need excellent customer service and organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage and deliver work to a high standard.
