Horse Health, owners of LeMieux, one of the fastest developing equestrian brands are expanding their manufacturing, wholesale and retail operations supplying high quality products to the equestrian market all over the world.

Due to continued success, development and expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Design Assistant / Coordinator to join our Design and Production team at our new offices in East Wellow near Romsey, Hampshire.

 We are seeking an experienced highly organised, hardworking and creative candidate, to assist in the creation of exciting new horse and rider wear for LeMieux.

 The Role:

  • Assisting in all aspects of the design and development process.
  • Updating CAD’s and assisting in the creation of spec sheets.
  • Managing and maintaining the Critical Path, making sure all information is up to date.
  • Day-to-day organisation and admin for the Design Department.
  • Assisting with the organisation of photo shoots (e.g. model and location sourcing).
  • Managing/organising samples and sample room.
  • Assisting in trend and product research.
  • Assisting in aspects of quality control.

 Requirements:

  • Fashion Qualification.
  • Industry experience essential, preferably in Equestrian / Sportswear.
  • Excellent CAD skills and experience using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of grading and sizing would be advantageous.
  • Applicant must be a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Applicant must be able to take initiative in any given role.
  • Applicant must work well in a team,and be able to adapt to a fast paced working environment.
  • An equestrian background and passion for equestrian products and the industry is not essential but would be a distinct advantage.

This is a very busy, fast paced environment and you will need to multi task, work accurately under pressure and to deadlines and manage/ prioritise your workload effectively. You will be reliable and hard working with a flexible attitude to work well alongside our existing team.
