We are a leading supplier of equine supplements with a prominent position in the equestrian market.  We are a rural based business situated in the Midlands and applicants must reside within a 20-mile radius of Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire. 

We're looking for an experienced digital marketing aficionado to join our team. You will play a key role in our vibrant and fun team and report directly to the Operations Manager and Managing Director. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to become a thought leader in the digital marketing space. Our insights often turn into company content and thought leadership pieces that can really impact the industry. You could be the reason for those successes! 2020 is a year of growth for Animalife and you'll be a critical part of that, by translating Animalife’s brand personality, values, and value proposition into digital marketing programs that acquire, grow and retain our customer base. If you are fueled by data and can generate reports that drive program analysis and test efficacy this is place for you! You'll be responsible for owning digital lead generation end-to-end, from third party channels and partnering with the team to execute campaigns in a dynamic and rural setting. 

As well as working across digital media, print and our team of elite brand ambassadors you will have daily
contact with our retailers to manage campaigns.  We’re looking for someone to join and get involved in the day-to-day operations of all things Marketing & PR related, where you will work on a range of tasks across various digital platforms and offline. To include but not limited to events (will require occasional weekend work); TV, CRM Management, PPC, social, display and SEO (including content and outreach.)  

We’re looking for someone who has an eye for detail with excellent communication and content creation (written + video) skills. There must be a willingness to learn and progress within our growing business that would suit a proactive mindset. 

Skills & Experience 

  • Journalism background with a passion for equestrian sport or dog care / ownership
  •  Ability to output creative content that offers value to key audiences
  • Google AdWords certification preferable but not essential (training can be provided)
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Understanding of paid digital media (Search, Social, Display, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Practical approach to resolving everyday challenges
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and progress

Responsibilities: 

  • Full training across all digital channels will be provided during the first 6 months. On-going training and support is provided.
  • Execute content and outreach across a variety of digital marketing channels, including but not limited to SEO, Social Ads, Content Syndication, Media Buying & affiliate channels
  • Build and adhere to omnichannel media plans that deliver against Animalife’s business targets. Responsible for budgeting and allocation of spend within said media plans.
  • Keyword research and strategies
  • PPC campaign builds (keywords, ads, extensions, best practices)
  • Paid campaign optimisation and reporting
  • Be the driving force behind Animalife’s marketing analytics to build actionable and regular reports
  • Be responsible for A/B testing and conversion rate optimization on your campaigns and paid landing pages
  • Partner closely with other external collaborators, to drive alignment of programs, messaging and customer experience
  • Report and analyze the performance of your marketing campaigns, communicate those results to internal partners, and drive improvements based on that analysis
  • Speaking with customers, consumer or trade to obtain and output quality content
  • Surprise and delight our customers with creative and engaging campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years of specialized digital marketing experience - in online marketing (animal health a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to craft engaging copy across a variety of media (ads, landing pages, etc.)
  • Understanding of A/B testing and developing testing frameworks
  • Strong Understanding of SEM, Retargeting, SEO, Social Media Advertising, Media Buying, and Media Planning
  • Knowledge of the B2B Marketing funnel
  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce or similar tools a plus
  • A cross-functional and collaborative mindset
  • Self-driven entrepreneurial spirit
