Chelford Farm Supplies is one the UK’s leading suppliers of Equestrian, Agricultural, Gardening and Country products. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an eCommerce Specialist to lead the fast-growing eCommerce team.

This role is both strategic and operational and you will be fully accountable for driving the online sales and profit performance, identifying new opportunities to drive digital performance and growth. You will be an expert in eCommerce, a strong team player and passionate about digital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic traffic.

  • Conduct keyword research for product listings, category pages, and content.

  • Optimise website content (product descriptions, meta tags, headers, URLs).

  • Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content.

  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (site speed, mobile optimisation, crawl errors).

  • Track, report, and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.

  • Implement link-building strategies to improve domain authority.

  • Monitor and analyse competitor SEO strategies.

  • Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm updates.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce.

  • Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and SEO best practices.

  • Excellent analytical skills for data interpretation and trend identification.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Knowledge of Magento, PPC campaigns, social media, and email marketing.

  • Experience managing third-party selling channels (eBay, Amazon) preferred.

  • Insights and reporting via Magento and Google Analytics.

Required:

  • 2+ years of e-commerce experience.

  • Commercially-focused with advanced Excel and reporting skills.

  • Positive attitude and collaborative approach.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment managing multiple tasks.

  • Ideally from a farming or equestrian background.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good communicator.

  • Confident with Google Analytics, AdWords, Search Console, Tag Manager, and CMS/e-commerce platforms.

  • Strong written skills.

Work remotely

  • 1-2 Days per week

  • Office location - Macclesfield

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
