A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Jeffries Lifestyle Limited.

Jeffries Lifestyle Limited comprises a collection of renowned equestrian brands including Thermatex, NuuMed, Harry Dabbs and Jeffries Saddlery.

We are looking to appoint an equestrian-minded candidate with customer service experience to join our team.

This is an office role based in the West Midlands.

The Role:

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent organisational and communication skills, to be the main point of contact for handling customer orders, queries and returns.

We require a self-motivated person who can work on their own initiative also as part of a team, liaising closely with member of other teams to create orders, manage order fulfilment and resolve queries effectively and efficiently.

The role will also require proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel and a good computer literacy in order to produce regular sales and order reports, book transport and export shipments and process orders.

A personable and professional manner is important when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Order processing, managing order fulfilment, handling customer queries, customer sales calls and returns.

  • Arrange shipments of domestic and export orders, including preparing and processing relevant paperwork.

  • Production of reports including regular order reports.

  • Attendance may be required at various equestrian events, in support of the marketing team.

Essential experience and skills:

  • Experience in a customer service/sales role.

  • Self-organized, motivated and confident in working independently.

  • Excellent communicator and ability to build strong relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Good telephone manner and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • Equine knowledge preferable with an understanding and knowledge of horses and ponies.

  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.

This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday based at our offices in Walsall, West Midlands. Salary is £25k.
