A fantastic and rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and talented full time Designer to specialise in the research, design and development of Horsewear products for LeMieux. Our range includes everything from saddle pads and rugs, to bridles, browbands, reins and stirrups - as well as headcollars, boots and bandages, flymasks and more.
Experience:
- A strong equestrian background, and proven experience in similar roles that demonstrates your experience and talent for developing equestrian product ranges across multiple product categories.
- Has a flair for creative design along with commercial awareness and a strong understanding of, and ability to predict trends and identify opportunities.
- A good technical understanding of product construction, development and techniques.
- Possesses a positive attitude, is extremely organised and comfortable working at pace.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite products – i.e InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop.
The Role:
- You will be working within a small but extremely passionate creative team of both keen equestrians and experienced designers.
- You will be creating products for both our core and seasonal ranges that work cohesively with our clothing and rider wear products.
- You will be responsible for managing these products from concept to launch
- You’ll work alongside the technical and production departments/teams on various projects
- Creation of clear and accurate design packs, liaising with factories and suppliers to ensure correct execution and deadlines are met.
