Equestrian Shop Manager

Location: Clyro, HR3 5LE

The team at Saddle Up And Ride are passionate horse riders, just like you. We’re knowledgeable about all the finest equestrian brands and products for the rider, horse and the stables.

We are seeking a talented and experiended equestrian shop manager to join our team. As the shop manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our equestrian retail store, including sales, inventory management, staff supervision and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day to day operations of the equestrian shop, including opening and closing procedures, staffing and scheduling.

• Manage inventory and ordering to ensure optimal product availability

• Provide exceptional customer service

• Maintain the visual appeal of the shop through merchandising and display standards

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and partners

• Monitor and analyse sales performance

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in retail management

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Passionate and knowledgeable about the equestrian industry and products

• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage inventory and keep track of stock levels

• Proficient in POS systems

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holiday

• Salary dependent on experience
