North Kent College is a college of Further and Higher Education located across campuses in Dartford and Gravesend, and Tonbridge Kent, England, with Partner College status with the University of Greenwich.

Where you’ll work: This role is based at the College’s Hadlow campus, with travel to the Greenwich site as required.

Your hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum. Involving shift work, some of which include weekends.

Your pay: Tier 3 spot - £30,000 per annum [JS1] 

Working within North Kent College’s Equine curriculum area, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitability qualified, experienced and passionate individual to join the team in the role of Equine Centre & Events Manager.

  • You’ll be required to manage the provision of a high quality, professional, customer focused Equine Centre, implementing a programme of commercial activities at the centre and maintaining resources for both commercial and curriculum needs to a high standard.
  • You’ll have specialist knowledge of the Equine sector, which may be enhanced by any relevant industry / professional experience, as well as a formal qualification that underpins this knowledge.
  • We need the successful candidate to be a team player and have excellent communication skills as well as being able to maintain a proactive approach and an eye for detail whilst working to challenging deadlines.
    The ability to work flexibly on a shift basis including evenings and weekends to ensure implementation and overseeing of events is essential.
  • Teaching experience, particularly within Further Education, would be advantageous but isn’t essential to this role.
