Equine Specialist - Salisbury, Wiltshire

Part Time, 20 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 1.30pm - 5.30pm

We are looking for an Equine Specialist for our busy store in Salisbury.

Mole Country Stores form part of the UK's largest rural retailers of goods and services to farmers and the general public. We are a progressive and diverse business with an annual turnover exceeding £400 million, employing over 2,100 employees.

Contracted to 20 hours per week, the successful candidate will provide the highest level of customer service ensuring the needs of the customer are put first. The ideal applicant will have a passion for customer service and an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.

Main duties will include:

• Assisting our customer in locating products and answering their queries
• Merchandising the equine area of the store and maintaining standards
• Driving the department sales
• Managing product promotions
• Stock administration

The Candidate:

• Confident communication and interpersonal skills
• An interest, knowledge or qualification within equine is essential
• Able to work under pressure of deadlines
• Fast learner, accurate and able to prioritise workload

Please note due to the nature of our products, this position will involve regular heavy lifting.
