Show Direct is an equestrian event management company primarily involved with Blue Chip Winter Show Jumping Champs, British Dressage Winter Champs, British Dressage National Champs and the Trailblazers Championships, plus all floral arrangements for Badminton Horse Trials and Olympia. 

Show Direct Ltd are currently seeking a well organised and forward thinking professional to join their friendly team.

The role of Event Administration Manager is varied and busy, with responsibility of (but not limited to) the following matters:

  • PA support to the Directors
  • Office Management
  • Management of event sponsors
  • Competition Timetables – including liaising with various parties including volunteers, show secretaries, management of hotel bookings, rosettes etc
  • Trailblazers Enquiries
  • Invoicing & Banking
  • Artwork production & programmes
  • Event Health and Safety
  • Email campaigns (Mail chimp)
  • Management of Event Equipment
  • Preparation, Build up and Break down at Events.

The role is suited to a well organised and friendly individual, with previous office / sales / event experience (min 2 years previous experience)

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, confident in meeting new people.
  • Forward thinking and able to prioritise
  • Work from their own initiative in a professional manner
  • Flexible, and prepared to get stuck in when required
  • Able to stay away when required
  • Become a vital & important part of the team. 
  • Physically fit and able to work with the team at events.
  • Live locally to Pendock, Gloucestershire - when office based.

 

The role is mainly office based in Pendock, Gloucestershire, with relocation on site for build-up / live event / breakdown of each show (currently staying on site for approx. seven weeks per year over approx. five event periods).

This is a fun and varied role that offers the successful candidate plenty of scope of personal growth within the role.
