On behalf of a client Equine Careers are currently seeking an Events / Logistics Manager to join a busy team. 

An exciting opportunity to join a growing , highly innovative company that is renowned throughout the Industry for the integrity of its products. 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard working and motivated individual to contribute to the smooth running, organising and set up of events, management of stock, and all relevant logistics in line with having a stand at shows, events and trade fairs across the country. 

This is a hands on role with particular responsibility for

  • Organising and planning events / trade shows
  • Driving to various show locations and setting up of the trade stands
  • Dismantling of the trade stand and return of equipment / product to head office site
  • Liaising with external parties for building of stands
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of product at head office
  • Developing systems to make the above more efficient
  • Keeping Head Office storage facility in good order
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Skills / Qualifications required

  • Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to work from own initiative
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels
  • A strong team player who can also support other team members when required
  • IT literate
  • A full clean driving license and able to travel long distances and able to stay away from home regularly.
  • Based in the North of England

This post includes evening and weekend work and overnight stays at some trade events.
