The Feed Shed is a family run business with a broad range of products to include quality livestock feed, supplements, healthcare products and grooming equipment. We are based in Flecknoe, Rugby with a retail store and a substantial on-line shop. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and always go the extra mile to help our customers to get what they need.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven manager to continue and assist with the business development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the shop and online store and with a focus on business development.

This role is very important and will include:

• Maintaining stock levels
• Advising and assisting customers both in store and over the telephone and email
• Managing our in-store team
• Maintaining our excellent levels of customer satisfaction
• End of day processes such as cashing up
• Maximising profitability

Desirable experience and skills include:

• Previous management experience either in an equine or agricultural retail setting or agricultural business
• Excellent communication skills both written and face to face
• Knowledge of equine feed and nutrition   
• A team player and able to fit in with current team
• Marketing experience to include using social media for business purposes

The hours for this role are 8.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday with Saturday work available alongside this.
