Maternity Cover for French Retail & Trade Customer Service/Sales Development

Office Hours: 8.00 am – 4.00 pm Mon – Fri

Job Description:

 We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and professional individual to join our team, working at our offices in North Perrot, Somerset to cover a period of approximately 6 – 8 months during our French Business Development Manager’s Maternity leave.

The successful applicant must be a fluent French and English speaker (both written and spoken) with a background in customer sales, development and service. Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) are a prerequisite and both knowledge and use of current social media platforms are essential.

 Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • Answering French customer helpline & email queries
  • Processing French Retail & Trade orders
  • Completing necessary export paperwork
  • Dispatching Web orders on CMS
  • Liaise with UK Dispatch to Track and trace deliveries as required
  • Liaise with retail and trade customers to resolve any delivery problems
  • Processing of credit card payments as necessary

 

Key Skills:

  • Fluent in French and English - Written & Spoken (essential)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (essential)
  • Previous experience of website CMS and/or CRM systems (essential)
  • Experience in order processing via web & telephone (desirable)
  • Proven practical sales experience in B2C & B2B business development (essential)
  • Good verbal and written communications skills (essential)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounts software (desirable)
  • Interest in the equine/pet supplement industry and knowledge of changes facing the industry (desirable)
  • Knowledge and interest in natural health care for animals (desirable)
  • Practical knowledge of horses and pets (desirable) 

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven track-record in customer service to join our team and help further develop our French B2C & B2B markets.

Full product training will be provided. This is an office-based position so applicants should live within reasonable commuting distance of our offices near Crewkerne, Somerset. UK

There is a potential for the successful applicant to become a permanent member of our team following the Maternity leave cover.
