Salary: £33,000 to £35,000 per annum – Depending on Experience 

We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Front-end Web Developer to work on large internal and customer facing digital projects pivotal to the success of Weatherbys Bank. You will be responsible for developing new front-end digital solutions as well as managing and maintaining existing solutions. This is a new permanent role which will be based in Wellingborough.

You will be working alongside our internal teams; London based UX/design agency; and our technology partners, to deliver exceptional digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop functional and appealing web and mobile-based applications based on usability.
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements.
• Use a combination of mark-up languages to write web pages.
• Write functional requirement documents and specifications.
• Create quality mock-ups and prototypes on tight timelines.
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Create CSS that are consistent across all browsers and platforms.
• Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout our digital real-estate.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
• Promote usability best practices.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience in JavaScript development (ES6) and a good knowledge of HTML and CSS. Some of our solutions are built in React.js, therefore if you are not already familiar with it, you will need to be willing to skill up on this. It will be a distinct advantage if you also have good knowledge of Webpack, Redux, ES6 / Babel, Redux Saga, Redux Forms and experience writing unit tests.
