The National Horseracing College seeks to employ a full-time Marketing and Digital Marketing Assistant to join its enthusiastic, vibrant and professional Marketing and Recruitment team. As one of only two specialist horseracing colleges in the UK, this third sector provider delivers training for people in the racing industry. In 2016 it achieved Ofsted Grade 2.
To be selected for this interesting, challenging role, you must have familiarity with the equine industry. Familiarity with the horseracing industry is desirable but not essential.
You should be highly motivated, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will attend recruitment fairs in schools, providing accurate information on training courses and career opportunities to prospective learners. You will assist the marketing team with the delivery of Open Days and you’ll be part of the team responsible for the social media accounts. You’ll develop positive relationships with our stakeholders and will respond to a variety of enquiries via telephone and email. For this position, a driving licence is essential, as is experience in the use of the full Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Days of Work: 37 hours per week. We are prepared to be flexible on how this is worked. There will be the requirement to attend evening career events on a rota basis and, on occasions, to work a weekend day.
The package on offer includes a starting salary of £21,000 per annum (negotiable), a contributory pension scheme, initial holiday entitlement of 25 days (+ Bank Holidays), Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), and Life Assurance (2 X salary).
